Supporting Programs and Services that Strengthen Our Communities
In keeping with the tradition of giving back, the Rincon Community Contribution Committee was established by the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians Tribal Council to support programs and services that improve quality of life throughout San Diego County.
Since 2007, the Rincon Band has provided funding to more than 600 nonprofit organizations and public agencies.
The Contributions Committee welcomes requests that benefit children, youth, families, military members, and seniors. Funding may support health and wellness, education, recreation, arts and culture, environmental conservation, community events, and other programs that positively impact the public.
Only nonprofit organizations with a valid tax ID number and public agencies are eligible to apply. Requests from individuals or private commercial businesses are not eligible for consideration.
Because the Committee receives more requests than can be funded each year, organizations are encouraged to provide optional sponsorship or contribution levels.
Eligibility and Funding Guidelines
The Contributions Committee considers requests that support community-based programs, services, and events that provide a public benefit. Eligible requests may include:
The following requests are not eligible for funding:
Funding for individual organizations is generally limited to three (3) consecutive years unless waived by the Contributions Committee.
Application Requirements
