The Rincon Tribe was recently selected to receive the Corporate and Foundation Hero Award by the North County Food Bank. The award was presented at this year’s virtual 2020 Community Champion Awards: A Salute to our Covid-19 Heroes.
“We are very humbled to receive this award,” stated Chairman Bo Mazzetti. “It is our continued goal to help our neighbors and our surrounding communities, especially during these difficult times. On behalf of the Rincon Tribe, we wish everyone a safe and healthy holiday season.”
The Community Champion Awards honored individuals, companies, organizations and volunteers who demonstrated outstanding support for the North County Food Bank during the Covid-19 pandemic which has caused skyrocketing demand for hunger relief services.
“Thank you for your truly amazing support for the North County Food Bank’s mission during these unprecedented times,” said Jim Floros, President and CEO of the North County Food Bank. “We honor your contribution to our vital mission in the community.”
