Tribal Law Enforcement Officer

The role of Tribal Law Enforcement Officer is highly influential to the efficient functioning of the Rincon Tribal Government. Under general direction of the Tribal Law Enforcement Manager and supervision of the Lead Tribal Law Enforcement Officer, the Tribal Law Enforcement Officer will assist in the implementation of a uniform “Observe and Report” patrol team for the Rincon Reservation. This person will provide excellent customer service in a professional and cordial manner. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong dedication to service and safety.

Accounting Specialist

Under the direction of the Finance Director, this position will manage fiscal accounting and auditing systems, develop financial contract specifications and requests for proposals; make budgetary and statistical evaluations and analyses; to supervise the preparation of a variety of complex records and reports; and to do other related work as required Responsibilities also include performing audits of financial transactions and the production of reports related to federal and private grants or requests from outside entities such as auditors, legislative bodies, or the public.

Accountant I

The role of Accountant I is vital to the efficient functioning of Rincon. This position, under direct supervision, is responsible for assisting higher level accountants to establish, review, revise and maintain control of fiscal record-keeping functions in an accounting department, or audits the fiscal records and accounting procedures of special projects, grants or other departments. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to tribal policies, regulations and procedures. The role also interacts with the Tribal community and provides the highest level of customer service.

Administrative Officer to the Tribal Chair

Under the direction of the Tribal Chairperson, perform highly responsible and confidential secretarial and administrative duties to relieve the Tribal Chairperson of a variety of administrative details; serve as liaison between departments and outside agencies to Tribal Chairperson.

Dispatcher I

This under general supervision will conduct specialized work in receiving and dispatching messages for Tribal Law Enforcement and Fire Operation. This work involves fast, efficient and accurate receiving, dispatching and processing of communications from and to personnel and fire stations or Law Enforcement vehicles. Calls and messages include emergency requests as well as routine department matters. This person will conduct business in a professional and cordial manner that will uphold the integrity and reputation of Rincon.

Site Monitor (Casual)

This position, under the direction of the Cultural Resources Manager, is responsible for the prevention, collection and on-site monitoring of excavations and work areas on Tribal lands. This position will conduct business in a professional and cordial manner that will uphold the integrity and reputation of Rincon.

Administrative Assistant II

This position is responsible to provide administrative and secretarial support to positions of high-level management or supervision of the Rincon Fire Operations Department. This person will conduct business in a professional and cordial manner that will uphold the integrity and reputation of Rincon. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to tribal policies, regulations and procedures.

Superintendent of Public Works

Under the direction of the Tribal Administrator, the Superintendent of Public Works will supervise and manage the reservation’s General Services Department. This position will direct the activities of construction, repair, maintenance, and operational work on the reservation streets, parks, buildings, trees, streetscapes and right of ways.

Firefighter/Paramedic

This position is responsible to respond to fire and emergency related calls and to maintain job skills through training to ensure overall customer service.

Museum Assistant (Part Time)

Under the direction of the Cultural Resources Manager and led by the Museum Specialist, the Museum Assistant will provide administrative services to the Rincon Tribal Museum ensuring effective and efficient support of day to day operations.
